Job summary

Grunley Construction is seeking a Safety Manager to implement comprehensive Safety Management Systems, risk reduction programs, and OSHA compliance across high-profile commercial and government projects in the DMV. The role reports to the Director of Corporate Safety and collaborates with field leaders to ensure safety policies are applied at every site.

The ideal candidate will have OSHA training credentials, CPT in fall protection, CPR/First Aid, and CQM-C certification, with a minimum of five

Qualifications

• HS Diploma is required.
• OSHA 500 or OSHA 30 Safety-Training credentials required.
• CPT in fall protection, confined space, scaffolding and excavation.
• Current First Aid & CPR cards.
• CQM-C (Construction Quality Management for Contractors) required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Safety Management Systems across projects and participate in the Safety and Accident Committee.
• Lead Risk Management and Loss Reduction efforts including incident investigations and reporting.
• Conduct Safety Audits and provide guidance to resolve hazards and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Develop and deliver Safety Training programs and maintain training records.
