Job summary

W.E. O’Neil is seeking a Safety Manager in Denver, CO to lead construction safety programs, mentor project teams, and coordinate with safety stakeholders. The role focuses on improving site safety, regulatory compliance, and incident prevention across multiple projects.

The candidate will train personnel on OSHA requirements, build strong subcontractor relationships, and promote a culture of safety throughout operations, reporting to the Safety Department.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Occupational Safety & Health or Construction Management.
• 3–7 years of relevant project field experience in construction safety.
• OSHA/Cal OSHA 30 certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• CDL certification.

Responsibilities

• Build strong subcontractor relationships with safety management and aim to establish new relationships.
• Mentor project personnel on safety goals, concerns, and resolutions.
• Train site personnel on OSHA regulations and safety procedures.
• Promote safe behavior and implement company safety programs.
• Coordinate with project/safety teams to ensure OSHA compliance.
• Conduct safety inspections and incident investigations; report findings.
