Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to lead on-site safety efforts for client projects in the Port Washington area. You will drive compliance with regulations, deliver targeted trainings, and coordinate with contractors to mitigate risks.

Key responsibilities include hazard analysis, PPE management, and incident reporting. Local candidates willing to report on-site and work in a demanding environment are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• CHST certification (Construction Health and Safety Technician) required.
• ASP or CSP certification.
• 7+ years of construction safety experience.
• Current OSHA 510 or OSHA 30 certification.
• NFPA 70E Electrical Safety certification.
• Knowledge of Safetymojo, BIM 360 and Procore.
• Ability to walk 8+ miles per day and lift 25 lbs.
• First Aid, Narcan, Bloodborne Pathogens, CPR and AED training.
• Mental Health First Aid Training.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement site and project safety plans.
• Coordinate safety training and assign new hire trainings.
• Lead Job Hazard Analyses and high-risk activity mitigations.
• Create fatigue management, pre-task and stretch/bend plans.
• Define PPE requirements and housekeeping/signage plans.
• Schedule and perform equipment safety checks.
• Teach safety classes (Aerial lift, LOTO, electrical safety).
• Coordinate training with electrical contractor and GC.
• Submit weekly safety reports and walk the site for hazards.
• Supervise high-risk activities and investigate incidents.
• Participate in weekly safety committee meetings.
• Assist Root Cause Analysis and incident investigations.

We are seeking aConstruction Safety Managerto beresponsible for promoting and ensuring site safety. Our Safety Managers have comprehensive knowledge of day-to-day safety field operations including planning, coordinating, and enforcing safety regulations and codes. You will also teach and coordinate site specific trainings and assign and monitor new hire trainings. You will be the point of contact for all safety related matters and ensure a safe and fully compliant work environment!

You must be local to the Port Washington, WI area and be willing to report on-site.

You will:

• Develop and implement site and project-specific safety plans, including
• Safety and training
• Job Hazard Analysis and high-risk activity identification and mitigation planning
• Fatigue management plan
• Pre-task plan
• Stretch and bend program
• PPE requirements
• Housekeeping, signage, barricade plans
• Schedule and coordinate and / or perform equipment safety checks.
• Teach safety related classes (Aerial lift, LOTO, electrical safety, etc.)
• Coordinate other site-specific training with electrical contractor and GC.
• Prepare and submit weekly safety reports
• Walk the site looking for hazards and mitigation
• Supervise high-risk activities
• Work with other subcontractor safety professionals to develop site improvement.
• Participate in weekly safety committee meetings.
• Help investigate injuries, PD, and / or near misses and participate in Root Cause Analysis.

You have:

• BCSP Certificationminimum of Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), ASP or CSP.
• 7+ years of experience.
• First Aid, Narcan, Bloodborne Pathogens, CPR, and AED training
• Emergency procedures training
• Mental Health First Aid Training
• Current OSHA 510, OHSA 30 certification.
• NFPA 70EElectrical Safety certification.
• Knowledge of Safetymojo, BIM 360, and Procore.
• Ability to walk 8+ miles per day.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
