Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to lead safety on data center projects in the Port Washington, WI area. The role focuses on promoting and enforcing safety regulations, conducting trainings, and coordinating site-specific safety programs.

You will serve as the point of contact for safety, ensure a fully compliant work environment, and collaborate with electrical contractors and GC teams to uphold core values and project safety goals.

Qualifications

• BCSP CHST, ASP or CSP required.
• 7+ years of construction safety experience.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and codes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement site and project-specific safety plans.
• Conduct safety orientation and training for personnel.
• Perform Job Hazard Analysis and high-risk activity mitigation.
• Coordinate required safety checks and PPE compliance.
• Teach safety-related courses (Aerial lift, LOTO, electrical safety).
• Prepare and submit weekly safety reports and near-miss investigations.

Construction Safety Manager – Data Centers

We are seeking a Construction Safety Manager to be responsible for promoting and ensuring site safety. Our Safety Managers have comprehensive knowledge of day-to-day safety field operations including planning, coordinating, and enforcing safety regulations and codes. You will also teach and coordinate site specific trainings and assign and monitor new hire trainings. You will be the point of contact for all safety related matters and ensure a safe and fully compliant work environment!

You must be local to the Port Washington, WI area and be willing to report on-site.

You will:

• Develop and implement site and project-specific safety plans, including
• Safety orientation and training
• Job Hazard Analysis and high-risk activity identification and mitigation planning
• Pre-task plan
• Stretch and bend program
• PPE requirements
• Schedule and coordinate and / or perform equipment safety checks.
• Teach safety related classes (Aerial lift, LOTO, electrical safety, etc.)
• Coordinate other site-specific training with electrical contractor and GC.
• Prepare and submit weekly safety reports
• Walk the site looking for hazards and mitigation
• Work with other subcontractor safety professionals to develop site improvement.
• Participate in weekly safety committee meetings.
• Help investigate injuries, PD, and / or near misses and participate in Root Cause Analysis.

You have:

• BCSP Certification minimum of Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), ASP or CSP.
• 7+ years of experience.
• First Aid, Narcan, Bloodborne Pathogens, CPR, and AED training
• Emergency procedures training
• Mental Health First Aid Training
• Current OSHA 510, OHSA 30 certification.
• NFPA 70E Electrical Safety certification.
• Knowledge of Safetymojo, BIM 360, and Procore.
• Ability to walk 8+ miles per day.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
