Lindus Construction, Inc./Midwest LeafGuard is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to develop and enforce health and safety plans across sites, with substantial travel to various job locations in the Twin Cities Metro and surrounding areas.

The role requires OSHA 10 (mandatory) and OSHA 30 (desirable), 5+ years in safety management, and an associate degree in safety or related field. A valid driver’s license is required and travel is extensive.

• Develop and execute health and safety plans according to OSHA guidelines.
• Provide training on construction hazards (fall prevention, PPE, equipment).
• Investigate accidents and prepare forms for workers’ compensation and OSHA.

Responsabilités

• Manage Return to Work program.

Construction Safety Manager

• Develop and execute health and safety plans according to legal guidelines and/or OSHA
• Provide training to all individuals on all aspect of construction hazards (fall prevention, PPE, equipment conditions, etc.)
• Conduct all training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention for new and existing individuals
• Investigate accidents and prepare all relative paperwork/forms for workers’ compensation and/or OSHA
• Manage Return to Work program
• Annual training documentation and record keeping

Complete Required Documentation For OSHA Or Other Reporting Agencies

• Establish a culture of health and safety by preparing and enforcing policies
• Visit jobsites to ensure policies are being enforced properly
• Correct unsafe working conditions by inspecting equipment and worksite setup
• Provide Corrective Action Notices to individuals that do not adhere to our safety program to assure full understanding safety importance
• Extensive travel (80%) is involved by automobile in visiting the various job sites/customers/suppliers in the Twin Cities Metro area during the day

Construction Safety Manager Qualifications

• Associate degree in safety management or relevant field is preferred
• OSHA 10 Certified, required
• OSHA 30 Certified, desired

Construction Safety Manager Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in safety management (required), construction, manufacturing or service-related company.
• Equivalent education, training and/or related work experience.
