Job summary

PPC Partners is seeking a Safety Lead to drive safety programs across our operations. You will lead audits, investigations, and training to build a proactive safety culture while ensuring regulatory and company compliance.

You will mentor safety professionals, partner with field leadership, and develop site-specific safety plans. This role requires a collaborative leader who delivers measurable risk reductions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Safety Management, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of occupational safety experience required.
• Demonstrated experience coaching safety personnel or leading safety initiatives required.
• Construction and/or electrical industry experience strongly preferred.
• OSHA 30 Certification required.
• First Aid/CPR certification required or ability to obtain.
• Professional certifications such as CHST, ASP, CSP, OHST, or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly between project locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of company safety programs, policies, and procedures at the jobsites.
• Partner with operational leadership to establish and achieve safety objectives and performance metrics.
• Conduct comprehensive safety audits, inspections, and assessments of jobsites, facilities, and work practices.
• Evaluate regulatory requirements, safety performance data, and industry best practices to recommend practical program improvements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on OSHA, state, local, customer, and company safety requirements.
• Monitor compliance trends and identify opportunities for proactive risk reduction.
• Lead corrective action initiatives and ensure timely closure of identified deficiencies.
• Assist branch and project leadership in developing solutions for complex safety concerns.
• Analyze safety performance data, identify trends, and prepare reports for leadership review.
• Support company initiatives focused on achieving and sustaining an incident-free workplace.
• Lead incident, injury, vehicle, property damage, and near-miss investigations.
• Facilitate root cause analyses and develop effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure all incidents are documented accurately and reported in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
