Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA construction standards (29 CFR 1926).
• Experience in complex, fast-paced construction environments.
• Working knowledge of high-risk activities (electrical, fall protection, confined space, crane ops).
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with field teams and management.
• Strong hazard recognition, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or safety management systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a safety resource to General Contractors, subcontractors, and project team.
• Mentor, coach, and train field personnel on OSHA standards and policies.
• Promote and sustain a positive safety culture through engagement with workers and site leadership.
• Participate in and support daily, weekly, and monthly safety meetings.
• Conduct routine site safety inspections, audits, and observations; recommend corrective actions.
• Lead safety processes: pre-task planning, JSAs, permits, and incident investigations.
• Facilitate new hire orientations, toolbox talks, and task-specific training.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and site-specific safety requirements.
• Prepare and maintain safety documentation, reports, and metrics for leadership.
