Job summary

ARCO, a Family of Construction Companies, seeks a Traveling Project Safety Manager, Construction. You will lead on-site safety for large-scale projects, coordinating with superintendents, PMs, and subcontractors while implementing site safety plans.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Occupational Health and Safety, CSP/CHST/STS preferred, and 5–15 years of construction safety experience. Willingness to travel and live near job sites is required; a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Requires BS in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• CSP/CHST/STS or similar certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site safety efforts on complex or large-scale projects.
• Develop site specific safety plan and ensure compliance.
• Track and assess project safety metrics for improvements.
• Perform safety inspections and issue corrective actions as needed.
• Lead site orientation and preconstruction safety meetings.
• Coordinate safety content for subcontractor meetings.
• Collect and manage safety documentation and conduct incident investigations.
