Job summary

CORE Midwest is seeking a full-time Construction Safety Manager to lead safety on our Indiana projects. This in-person role covers multiple sites, with travel across the state to monitor compliance, train teams, and conduct safety audits.

You will partner with project managers, lead stand-downs, and maintain documentation in Procore and Predictive Solutions, ensuring adherence to CORE’s Safety Manual and OSHA requirements. Available in Indianapolis and southern Indiana.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of construction safety or industrial safety supervisory experience.
• Professional Degree in Health & Safety or related field preferred (construction management, engineering, etc.).
• Must be able to pass a background check as required by clients.
• OSHA 30 CHST preferred.
• First Aid/ CPR certified preferred.
• Strong and assertive communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Administers safety policies and procedures on project sites and with trade partners.
• Conducts new hire safety orientation and safety requirements briefing on-site.
• Prepares and conducts training on health, safety, and environmental topics to protect site personnel and projects.
• Partners with Project Managers and Superintendents to maintain hazard-free sites in compliance with CORE policies and OSHA.
• Conducts site inspections and audits, communicates findings, and ensures corrective actions are taken.
• Investigates incidents/accidents and documents findings; maintains proper records.
