Qualifications

• Safety management degree preferred or relevant job experience.
• OSHA certification (construction) recommended.
• BCSP certs (CSP/ASP/GSP/CHST) preferred.
• First Aid/CPR/AED trained.
• Experience with large-scale/construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace.
• Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety.
• Conduct training and presentations on health and safety and accident prevention.
• Coach and correct safety concerns in the field.
• Perform field safety audits.
• Inspect equipment and construction projects for unsafe conditions.
• Investigate accidents or incidents.
• Recommend solutions and prevention measures.
• Prepare safety permits/approvals.
• Provide professional safety expertise.
