Haydon Companies is seeking a Safety Manager to keep Haydon job sites focused on safe completion of projects. You will lead safety initiatives, train staff, and drive compliance across operations in the construction sector.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and thorough understanding of OSHA regulations, with the ability to work independently and influence best practices on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; OSHA regulations and safety programs knowledge.
• Self-starting, disciplined in managing deliverables, able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Preview projects and sites to identify safety risks and attend kick-off meetings.
• Educate operations teams on lessons learned to mitigate incidents.
• Visit active sites to ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Collaborate with project teams to implement safety solutions on sites.
• Conduct routine safety audits (bi-weekly).
• Deliver safety training programs for company employees.
• Investigate accidents to determine causes and lessons learned.
• Monitor daily operations to ensure safety compliance.
• Audit incidents and inspections to close items timely.
• Audit equipment inspection reports for timely repairs.
• Maintain safety reports in the technology platform.
• Address non-compliance with safety standards.
• Manage the Haydon Craft Safety Voice (HCSV) committee.
