Job summary

LEMOINE is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across building construction projects in the Louisiana region. The role partners with Project Executives, Project Managers, and field personnel to identify risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote safe work practices throughout all construction phases.

The ideal candidate has a proactive safety background in commercial or vertical construction, comfortable in active sites, and capable of driving practical

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Safety, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
Minimum five years of construction safety experience, preferably in complex vertical construction.
OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required.

Responsibilities

Lead and support safety initiatives across building construction projects.
Partner with project leaders to develop site-specific safety plans and risk controls.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
Provide safety training, toolbox talks, and leadership development for site teams.
Collaborate with owners, clients, and subcontractors to promote proactive safety culture.
