Job summary

HazTek Safety Management is seeking an experienced Safety Specialist to support our growing commercial construction projects in Marietta, PA. You will oversee OSHA compliance, conduct daily safety meetings, and lead accident investigations.

Qualified candidates bring 5+ years in construction safety, OSHA 30 Construction cert, and First Aid/CPR. You will enforce PPE usage, conduct daily audits, and inspect tools and equipment across active sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 hour in Construction certification required.
• First Aid/CPR certified.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards.
• Experience in Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction projects ensuring OSHA compliance
• Conduct daily safety meetings
• Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
• Ensure all personnel wear their personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Daily safety audits and inspections
• Inspect power tools and heavy equipment
