Job summary

The Crom Corporation is seeking an HSE Coordinator for full-time work at sites across the United States, based in High Point, NC. You will enforce safety programs, lead inspections, and coordinate with the Safety Committee to ensure injury prevention and regulatory compliance.

You will report to the HSE Director and help maintain training records, conduct investigations, and support safety meetings with general contractors and field staff.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in construction health and safety or environmental.
• Completed OSHA 30 hours construction safety training.
• Basic fall protection knowledge.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Clean driving and arrest records.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety procedures and policies; stop-work if needed.
• Inspect subcontractor work for safety compliance.
• Eliminate hazards through site inspections and Crom safety practices.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and Crom Safety Manual.
• Assist HSE Director as on-site safety representative.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses to determine root causes.
• Monitor safety practices via reports from superintendents and staff.
• Liaise with safety and risk management personnel on sites.
• Attend safety-related meetings as company representative.
• Respond to employees’ safety concerns.
• Be a member of the Safety Committee.
