Job summary

R&R Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a Safety Specialist to develop and monitor safety programs across construction sites in Washington state. You will enforce protocols, conduct audits, and lead training, supported by a dedicated management team.

A strong safety culture and community focus drive daily operations. The role requires 3+ years in construction safety, OSHA knowledge, and excellent communication to train diverse teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; AS/BS in Occupational Safety preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years in construction safety or related safety coordination.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
• OSHA 10/30 certification or CSP OHST desirable or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Proven ability to conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs for construction sites.
• Conduct site inspections and safety audits for compliance with OSHA and standards.
• Lead safety training sessions and toolbox talks for employees.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses; prepare detailed reports and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety into planning and execution.
• Maintain records of safety activities, inspections, training, and incidents for compliance.
