Job summary

ARCO, a Family of Construction Companies, is seeking a highly motivated Safety Manager to join our Dallas team. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator and collaborative problem-solver who thrives in dynamic field environments.

Responsibilities include creating and delivering risk management training, conducting site visits, leading safety discussions in meetings, and performing inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in safety and health in construction.
• Construction project exposure and field-based training.
• Comfortable traveling 2–3 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Create and lead risk management training for individuals and groups both in office and on site.
• Provide on-the-spot safety training to superintendents and subcontractors as needed.
• Lead safety portions of preconstruction and project meetings.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and publish improvement reports.
• Investigate incidents to determine causes and corrective actions.
• Review engineered plans for safety hazards with Project Managers.
• Visit 15+ job sites monthly nationwide and provide ongoing support.
