Job summary

Laframboise Group is seeking a Safety Representative to monitor, manage and enforce safety on LGL projects in Bartow, FL. You will lead safety investigations, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with OSHA/MSHA standards on site.

With 3+ years in construction health and safety, you will train workers, coordinate safety programs, and support incident response while maintaining daily safety records and promoting a culture of safety and excellence at LGL.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction health and safety experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, and construction regulations.
• OSHA 30 and OSHA 500 preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and investigative skills.
• Current First Aid/CPR + AED with naloxone training.
• Working at heights training.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce safety on LGL projects in Bartow, FL.
• Lead safety training sessions and toolbox talks.
• Conduct site inspections and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents and near misses; recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with site management to address hazards and ensure proper PPE.
