Job summary

Environmental and Safety Solutions, Inc. (ESS) is seeking a highly motivated Construction Safety Associate to implement and manage health and safety practices in accordance with OSHA regulations and client standards.

This role requires a self-directed, detail-oriented safety professional who communicates well and thrives in a fast-paced construction environment. The position involves developing and improving EH&S programs, delivering training, leading safety meetings, conducting site assessments

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy industrial construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 completion is mandatory; OSHA 500/510 preferred.
• Formal BCSP certifications preferred or equivalent field experience.
• Strong PPE knowledge and JHA/JSA development and compliance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve the technical facilitation of the Project EH&S Program.
• Provide project management, training, onboarding/new hire safety orientation, or other job/task-specific EH&S related training to ensure site compliance.
• Coordinate and conduct routine safety meetings with relevant site information, comprehensive agendas, minutes and attendance records.
• Conduct daily site EH&S assessments or formal audit-type inspections with written findings and close-out documentation.
• Lead site safety/health investigations and prepare required client or company reports.
