Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field and minimum 4 years of related construction safety experience.
• CHST certification required or within 2 years of appointment.
• OSHA 30-hour training and current First Aid/CPR/BBP/AED certifications.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and local EHS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead EH&S on a single construction project per HQ policy.
• Provide safety leadership through time/resource management.
• Assess safety practices and develop risk mitigation plans.
• Communicate requirements to leadership and teams for adherence.
• Develop site-specific safety training and promote safe practices.
• Review subcontractor safety programs for compliance and training.
• Conduct safety audits and issue corrective actions.
• Hold preconstruction planning meetings to review safety program and risk mitigation.
• Conduct worker orientation and record participation.
• Create project safety reports and assess metrics for improvements.
• Maintain logs of toolbox talks and ensure compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.
