Job summary

Kokosing Industrial, Inc. is seeking a Safety & Health professional to develop and implement programs that reduce injuries on construction projects. You will train crews, lead safety meetings, and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure compliance with OSHA and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT and EPA regulations and company safety policies.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple safety programs.
• Experience in safety and health in construction preferred.
• BCSP certification highly preferred (ASP, CSP, CHST).

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing strategies to reduce injuries and incidents.
• Provide training and education on safety and health requirements.
• Lead safety meetings and training programs.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate project safety programs with subcontractors and vendors.
• Investigate injuries and incidents and prepare reports.
