Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, occupational safety & health, safety management, risk management or related field.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in commercial construction.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; exposure to construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or CMiC is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team‑oriented environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project safety activities with project teams and members of the safety department.
• Assist with incident investigations, including documentation and follow‑up.
• Facilitate and manage jobsite safety inspections to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Identify potential hazards and help develop practical, effective solutions.
• Deliver safety training sessions as needed to employees and subcontractors.
• Advise individuals, subcontractors, and employees on safe work practices and corrective measures.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in safety processes and provide actionable recommendations.
• Input and verify accuracy of safety records for prequalification efforts to support pursuit of projects.
• Promote and model the company’s safety culture through daily actions and leadership.
• Assist in developing site‑specific safety plans for new and existing projects.
• Travel to project sites as required to support field safety operations.
