Job summary

Aristeo Construction is seeking eager interns to join the safety team this summer. You’ll gain hands-on experience on multimillion-dollar projects and contribute to a supportive, collaborative environment in the construction industry.

You will work with on-site safety staff, perform orientations, assist with safety reports, and help with record-keeping and safety audits while developing skills for a successful career. Aristeo offers a strong culture, mentor support, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Familiar with safety concepts.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic software packages.

Responsibilities

• Work with on-site safety personnel to develop skills in safety coordination.
• Perform site orientations for new workers and visitors.
• Assist with safety reports and documentation.
• Complete record keeping as required.
• Conduct basic safety audits and observations.
• Assist with creation and maintenance of Pre-Task Analyses.

What You'll Do:

• Work with on site safety person to develop skills relating to safety coordination
• Perform site orientations
• Assist with safety reports
• Complete record keeping as required
• Conduct basic safety audits and observations
• Assist with the creation and maintenance of Pre‑Task Analysis

What You'll Bring:

• Working knowledge of safety policies and procedures
• Candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively and take direction
• Microsoft Office and other basic software packages

Experience:

• Familiar with safety concepts
• Candidates must be junior or senior level students working towards a 4‑year degree in Environmental Health and Safety from an accredited university
