Job summary

Aristeo invites you to join our Safety internship this summer to work on multimillion-dollar projects and gain hands-on construction safety experience.

You'll collaborate with on-site safety staff on coordination, orientations, reporting, and audits, building strong safety skills in a team-focused environment. This program fosters growth with mentoring and real project exposure.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4‑year degree in Environmental Health and Safety from an accredited university.
• Junior or senior year students preferred; willingness to learn on-site.
• Ability to follow directions and work with a safety team.

Responsibilities

• Assist safety coordination with on-site safety staff.
• Conduct site orientations for new workers.
• Support safety reporting and record-keeping.
• Perform basic safety audits and observations.
• Help create and maintain Pre-Task Analysis documents.
• Assist with safety training and mentoring activities.

What You'll Do:

• Work with on site safety person to develop skills relating to safety coordination
• Perform site orientations
• Assist with safety reports
• Complete record keeping as required
• Conduct basic safety audits and observations
• Assist with the creation and maintenance of Pre‑Task Analysis

What You'll Bring:

• Working knowledge of safety policies and procedures
• Candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively and take direction
• Microsoft Office and other basic software packages

Experience:

• Familiar with safety concepts
• Candidates must be junior or senior level students working towards a 4‑year degree in Environmental Health and Safety from an accredited university
