Aristeo Construction is looking for motivated interns to join our Preconstruction or Operations teams in Michigan. You’ll gain hands-on experience on multimillion-dollar projects, learn from industry leaders, and contribute to real project coordination and documentation.

You'll assist with estimating, scheduling, document control, and daily site coordination. The internship emphasizes learning, hands-on work, and potential future opportunities within Aristeo.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited university.
• Junior or senior year student actively pursuing an internship.
• Basic knowledge of construction techniques and processes.
• Experience with scheduling is a plus; knowledge of estimating tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the estimating process, including attending pre-bids, completing quantity take-offs, and soliciting subcontractor bids.
• Assist in developing project schedules and reports.
• Support Project Manager and Superintendent in daily coordination of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Help with document control procedures such as drawing logs, RFIs, and submittals.
• Provide assistance to field personnel as needed.

• Preconstruction:

Required Skills:

• Candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively and take direction
• Basic knowledge of construction techniques. Scheduling experience is a plus
• Knowledge of estimating, engineering, scheduling, and project management software is a plus

• Familiar with construction concepts
• Candidates must be junior or senior level students working towards a 4-year degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited university
