General Description:

We are seeking a Construction Safety Coordinator to join our team in South Florida. The role involves working with Superintendents and Project Managers to ensure compliance with safety and health policies, as well as Federal and State regulations. The coordinator is responsible for overseeing safety procedures on specific projects.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• US work authorization
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in Construction Health and Safety
• Certifications: OSHA 30, CPR, AED, First Aid
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Decisiveness
• Experience in injury management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Bilingual in Spanish and English

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess hazardous situations
• Develop safety measures
• Correct unsafe acts or conditions
• Maintain awareness of safety situations
• Participate in planning meetings regarding safety concerns
• Review Incident Action Plans
• Investigate accidents and near-misses
• Prepare and implement Site Safety and Health Plans
• Inspect sites for hazards

• Promote safe practices and enforce guidelines
