Job summary

Sure Steel, Inc. seeks a Corporate Safety Manager to lead the health, safety, and environmental program across construction projects. The role focuses on developing policies, leading audits, and driving a culture of safety excellence.

Ideal candidates will have a strong leadership background, deep knowledge of OSHA/EPA standards, and the ability to train staff and coordinate with stakeholders to achieve measurable safety outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in management with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and related regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional certification CSP/CIH/CHMM preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies, programs and initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.
• Lead audits, inspections, and incident investigations to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Train employees, subcontractors, and vendors on safety policies and procedures.
• Monitor KPIs, track performance, and stay current with regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and project teams to drive safety excellence.
