Job summary

The Bachrach Group in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Construction Health & Safety Manager to lead safety programs and compliance on a regional basis.

Responsibilities include developing the Site-Specific Health & Safety Program, leading incident investigations, conducting daily site reviews, and supporting analysis of AHAs. The role requires CHST certification and strong collaboration with project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, safety, health sciences, or related field.
• 5+ years of construction health and safety compliance experience.
• CHST certification required; ASP/CSP and OSHA 500 preferred.
• Strong communication and collaborative safety leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and administer the Site-Specific Health & Safety Program (HASP).
• Lead incident investigations, conduct witness interviews, and report findings.
• Conduct daily site reviews and inspections throughout the VA/DC region.
• Review and assist in preparation of Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs).
• Implement safety systems including weekly high energy control assessments.
