The Bachrach Group in the United States is seeking a Compliance & Safety Specialist to lead and coordinate safety, HazMat, environmental, and compliance programs across operations.

You will solve problems across departments, investigate incidents, and translate regulations into practical workplace solutions. 3–5 years of related experience and OSHA/DOT HazMat knowledge are valued in this role.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance standards.
• Working knowledge of DOT HazMat regulations (49 CFR).
• Experience managing SDSs and HazCom programs.
• Familiarity with wastewater management and environmental compliance requirements.
• Experience with hazardous waste handling, storage, and disposal preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs to reduce accidents and costs.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, DOT HazMat, environmental regulations.
• Classify, package, label, store, and transport hazardous materials; manage SDSs.
• Support HazCom requirements and environmental compliance programs.
• Conduct safety inspections, identify hazards, and develop corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents, spills, and incidents with root cause analysis.
• Lead safety training for employees and supervisors; support emergency response.
• Communicate safety and environmental risks to management; assist inquiries.
• Maintain records and partner with departments on new facilities and methods.
