Job summary

Environmental And Safety Solutions, Inc. is seeking a construction safety manager to maintain a strong field presence and monitor site safety conditions across multiple trades.

You will conduct daily walkthroughs, identify hazards, and implement real-time corrective actions to ensure OSHA compliance. Responsibilities include leading toolbox talks, coordinating with superintendents and subcontractors, and mentoring workers in best safety practices.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of construction safety management experience.
• OSHA 510 preferred or equivalent experience.
• Local to project preferred; per diem available if not local.
• Excellent writing and computer skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Background in demolition required.
• Ability to start this project as soon as possible.

Summary:

• Maintain a strong field presence (90%+ of time) to monitor job site safety conditions and behaviors.
• Conduct daily site walkthroughs, inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with OSHA and site-specific safety requirements.
• Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement corrective actions in real time.
• Partner with superintendents, foremen, and subcontractors to promote a proactive safety culture.
• Lead and participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and pre-task planning sessions.
• Observe work activities across multiple trades (mechanical, electrical, structural, etc.) and ensure safe work practices are followed.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; document findings and support corrective action plans.
• Reinforce positive safety behaviors while coaching and mentoring workers on best practices.

Requirements:

• OSHA 510 Preferred or additional experience.
• Local to the project preferred, there is per diem available if not local.
• 5 to 7 years of construction safety management experience.
• Ability to start this project as soon as possible.
• Must have excellent writing and computer skills.
• Great communication - written & verbal.
• Candidate must have strong background in demolition.
