Job summary

McDonough Bolyard Peck is seeking a Project Risk Consultant to support qualitative and quantitative risk management across federal, state/local government, education, healthcare, and transit sectors. You will lead and support risk management from inception to completion, develop risk plans, facilitate interviews and workshops, and produce risk reports and registers.

The role requires Bachelor’s in a related field with construction management knowledge and experience in cost/schedule risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
• Knowledge of construction, construction management and project controls
• Recent experience in risk identification, analysis and management for projects of similar scope
• Knowledge of scheduling, cost estimating, documentation, contract administration, and construction techniques

Responsibilities

• Lead and support risk management assignments from inception through final completion
• Develop risk management plans
• Coordinate with project teams to identify risks and develop risk reports and registers
• Facilitate risk interviews, workshops and meetings
• Develop a Probability and Impact Matrix to rate risks
• Perform quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis
• Prioritize risks for further analysis
• Identify, analyze, track and guide risk mitigation actions
• Assist PMs to monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle
