Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Construction Risk Manager to implement risk management methodologies and tools, guiding stakeholders to ensure consistent application of requirements. You will manage program/project risk, conduct risk reviews, and lead mitigation efforts across large construction programs.

The role requires a deep understanding of project controls, cost and schedule management, and strong communication with engineering, operations and procurement teams. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Risk Manager or 7+ years in related industry in lieu of a degree.
• Experience or deep understanding of Project Controls (estimate/cost and schedule).
• Excellent knowledge of risk methodology and tools; familiarity with ISO 31000 is a plus.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Manage program/project risk for specific clients following CSRA.
• Lead and participate in risk reviews; apply Monte Carlo analysis to inform mitigation actions and recovery plans.
• Assess, evaluate, prioritize and update risks for Programs/Projects classified as high or medium; monitor mitigations.
• Conduct Risk Assessment Workshops and Training with project teams; define risks and mitigation measures.
• Define risk management framework, policy, strategy, plan; organize resources with leadership support.
• Direct and review mitigation costs, budgets, and actuals; perform cost/benefit analyses against contingency actions.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual risk reports; conduct Risk Assessment Briefings.
