Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Loss Prevention Consultant to deliver consultative services to construction clients, conduct on-site evaluations, and design service plans that reduce risk and costs. You will mentor junior staff, analyze risk data, and collaborate with management to refine policies, tools and products while expanding our national leadership in safety.

Regular travel is required as part of delivering tailored solutions and building strong client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in math, engineering or related field, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of directly related consulting experience in loss prevention or safety.
• Professional certifications such as CSP, ARM, CPCU, CIH or CPE encouraged.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative loss prevention services to construction customers and develop service plans.
• Conduct on-site evaluations and data analysis to control risk, losses and costs.
• Mentor and train less experienced consultants as directed by management.
• Collaborate with management to develop policies, tools, and new products to support and enhance service delivery.
• Identify new business opportunities and support client retention.
