Job summary

Freese and Nichols in Oklahoma City is seeking a Construction Representative to lead inspection and documentation of construction activities. You will guide junior representatives, ensure quality and safety, and support change orders and payments alongside project managers.

The role requires 5+ years of field experience, proficiency with PMIS tools, and strong written and verbal communication. A hybrid work approach and benefits package accompany this position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience as a construction representative or inspector.
• Proficient using project management information systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Associates degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect ongoing construction work to ensure it aligns with plans and specifications.
• Oversee construction record keeping and recommend payments to contractors.
• Review proposed change orders and prepare daily reports.
• Prepare for and assist with preconstruction meetings, progress checks, and conflict resolution.
• Provide information to project/ construction managers regarding change orders and extra work.
• Communicate with client, contractors, and other team members.

Freese and Nichols is seeking a Construction Representative to join our Central Plains Construction team in Oklahoma City.
