HandyChucks is looking for a motivated and dependable Construction & Remodeling Crew Member to join our growing home improvement team. This is a full-time commitment —not subcontractor work—ideal for individuals who are reliable, eager to learn, and ready to grow with a family-owned business.

We take pride in transforming homes and helping our clients create outdoor spaces they truly enjoy—whether it’s a peaceful dock by the lake or a custom-built deck perfect for hosting friends and family. Our projects include deck and dock construction, bathroom and kitchen remodels, door and cabinet installation, and flooring work.

If you’re hands-on, take pride in doing quality work, and move at a solid pace, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with general home improvement work: framing, remodeling, deck/dock construction, flooring installation, and more

• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively

• Read a tape measure and make precise cuts

• Lift and carry up to 80 lbs

• Follow directions and complete tasks on time and to spec
  

Requirements:

• Must pass a detailed background check

• Prior experience in construction, remodeling, or carpentry

• Reliable transportation to west Knoxville-area job sites

• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools

• Smartphone with internet access for job coordination

• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and team spirit

• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
