FBT Gibbons LLP is a national, full-service law firm with over 800 attorneys across 26 offices and a strong Real Estate Practice Group. We seek an attorney to join the Real Estate Team in any of our offices.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of construction law experience within a Real Estate Practice Group and a track record drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts. We offer a hybrid work environment, mentorship, and a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of construction law experience within a Real Estate Practice Group.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex construction contracts across delivery methods (design-bid-build, design-build, CM-at-risk, EPC).
• Experience advising clients on risk mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Familiarity with professional services agreements and industry-standard contract forms (AIA, ConsensusDocs).
• Strong academic record with excellent research and writing skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Compensation

The salary ranges for this role reflects a variety of factors including experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, relevant experience, and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable employment laws.

• West Virginia: $160,00-$210,000
• Kentucky: $180,000-$230,000
• Indiana, Ohio, Pittsburgh: $190,000-$240,000
• New Jersey, Philadelphia, Delaware: $200,000-$250,000
• California,Colorado,New York,Tennessee, Texas, Washington,D.C.: $215,000-$265,000

Associates are also eligible for:

Quarterly and annual objective bonuses, with maximum objective bonus opportunities ranging from approximately$14,000 to $22,000per year, depending on associate level

Annual subjective bonus
