Job summary

The Walsh Group, Ltd. seeks a Construction Quality Control Manager in Kodiak, AK to lead the project quality management program. You will ensure QC processes align with policy, procedures, and contract requirements, while coordinating inspections, tests and documentation with operations, engineers and clients.

You will mentor project staff in quality principles, establish KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and manage risk to protect profitability and schedule commitments.

Qualifications

• AEC/engineering background with 7+ years in AEC, 3+ in quality roles.
• Strong communication, critical thinking and time management.
• Knowledge of standards, specs and publications related to construction quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality management for projects, ensuring safe, quality, and profitable execution.
• Mentor staff in quality principles and project-specific requirements.
• Establish and monitor KPIs and QIRs to drive continuous improvement.
• Direct inspection, testing, and documentation with coordination across teams.
• Develop project-specific QC plans and participate in risk mitigation and cost control.
• Maintain relationships with owners, clients, subcontractors and stakeholders.
