Job summary

Satterfield and Pontikes Construction, Inc. is seeking a Business Unit Quality Manager to oversee quality standards across multiple projects in the region.

You will work with project teams, subcontractors, and leadership to promote a culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. This leadership role requires proactive construction experience in quality management, field operations, and team development, with a focus on driving operational excellence and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific quality plans to ensure compliance with company standards and project requirements.
• Oversee construction quality through regular jobsite visits, inspections, and audits.
• Collaborate with project teams to proactively identify and resolve quality-related issues.
• Facilitate pre-installation meetings and coordinate mock-up reviews to establish and maintain quality expectations.
• Provide training, coaching, and guidance to project teams on quality processes, reporting requirements, and corrective actions.
• Partner with subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality requirements are understood and consistently met.
• Address quality deficiencies and assist project teams with corrective action plans.
• Analyze quality performance data and prepare reports identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable construction codes, standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Support operational leadership in driving quality initiatives and improving project performance.
