Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager I to own the QC program on a single project under a senior manager. You will keep the ITP current, schedule and witness tests, and draft the daily QC report.

You will open and track nonconformances, coordinate with the engineer and superintendent, and ensure audit-ready submittal, mix design, and material certification files. This role offers a path to Quality Manager II and sponsorship for certifications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing or QC on a project
• Ability to read specs and drawings and translate to test schedules
• Comfortable directing a superintendent when tests fail

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the project inspection and test plan (ITP) and testing frequency log against the specs
• Schedule and witness field and laboratory tests; verify technician certifications
• Write the daily quality control report and three-phase meeting records
• Open, track, and close nonconformance reports with the superintendent and engineer of record
• Keep submittal, mix design, and material certification files audit-ready
