Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Quality Manager I to own the quality control program on a single project under a senior quality manager. You will maintain the ITP, schedule and witness tests, and manage nonconformances, ensuring audit-ready records and coordination with the engineer of record.

The role advances from field inspector to manager, with sponsored training for relevant certifications and potential progression to Quality Manager II on larger programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing or QC on a project.
• At least one of: ACI Grade I, NICET II, ICC Special Inspector, or USACE CQM-C.
• Ability to read specifications/drawings and convert to a test schedule.
• Direct, organized, and able to tell a superintendent that a lift does not pass.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the ITP and testing frequency log.
• Schedule and witness field and lab tests; verify certifications.
• Write the daily QC report and NCR/three-phase meeting records.
• Open, track, and close nonconformances with the superintendent and engineer of record.
