Job summary

PCL Construction, Inc. in El Paso, TX is seeking a Quality Engineer to bring hands-on QC experience to concrete and mechanical inspections, documenting findings and maintaining project quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong background in construction quality processes, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with project teams to ensure compliance. Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Build is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 4-6 years of construction experience in an operational role preferred.
• Detailed knowledge of construction equipment, drawings, HSE, quality, and materials standards.
• Ability to apply engineering/problem-solving to construction challenges.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs quantity takeoffs and surveys to manage progress, reporting, and change.
• Maintains contract with complex subcontracted scopes and administration.
• Reviews contract obligations and assists site manager in start-up activities.
• Reviews subcontractors' submittals for scope and design alignment.
• Assists with site inspection by design team for installations and commissioning.
• Identify potential risks on project scopes and communicate them.
• Other duties as required.
