Job summary

Webcor is seeking a Quality Manager to implement the Quality Control Plan on site and oversee an effective project QC system. You will supervise inspections and tests across all work, including subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with contract docs and codes throughout commissioning and acceptance.

Essential duties include establishing the Contractor QC System, reviewing engineering documents for accuracy, performing three-phase inspections, and maintaining comprehensive QC records

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Minimum eight years in construction, including public works and federal projects.
• CQM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes, implements, and manages Contractor Quality Control System (CQC).
• Reviews drawings, specs, codes and subcontracts for compliance with revisions.
• Schedules, administers, and performs three-phase inspections.
• Performs tests to verify control measures and coordinates with subcontractors.
• Maintains reports, files and documentation of QC activities.
• Directs project-based CQC team and coordinates with Owner’s quality representative.
