Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Quality Control Manager to lead the QC program on construction projects. You will conduct jobsite inspections, train team members, and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure compliance with contract documents.

Responsibilities include developing a Project Specific Quality Control Plan, reporting findings to the Project Team and Leadership, and driving continuous improvement in the light and heavy industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates expertise in managing quality control programs within the construction industry, including conducting inspections, training team members, and developing project-specific quality control plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities of the quality control program.
• Attend project pre-construction meetings to discuss the QMS Program and review Lessons Learned in the presence of subcontractors and manufacturers.
• Train team members in the use of the quality control program.
• Conduct jobsite inspections/audits to ensure that quality controls are in place and report findings to the Project Team and Leadership.
• Perform quality control inspections of installations as they are being put in place to ensure compliance and coordination with the contract documents.
• Create and maintain an approved Project Specific Quality Control Plan.
