Job summary

Southern Industrial Constructors, INC. is seeking a Quality Control Representative in Lebanon, IN to support quality control procedures at the site. You will help improve project quality by advising on construction methods and identifying substandard work, while maintaining inspections and turnover packages.

You will ensure compliance with project, code and client requirements, coordinate with foremen, and monitor welding procedures, WPQ logs, and NDE paperwork throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of inspection experience in construction.
• Certified Welding Inspector (AWS or equivalent) preferred.
• Proficient with ASME codes and client specifications.
• Experience with MS Office and Bluebeam.
• Good written and verbal communication, planning and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Reports and stops work on all unsafe conditions and acts.
• Reviews applicable plans, drawings and inspection requirements.
• Ensures welds meet WPS and NC follow-up with foreman.
• Maintains weld maps and welder qualification records.
• Performs in-process inspections and documents results.
• Monitors NDE requirements and test plans as required.
• Administers weld tests and supports corrective actions.
