Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Senior Certified Welding Inspector III to lead welding quality programs across projects. You will supervise CWIs and Welding Inspectors, review procedures, and approve welder qualifications, WPS/PQR, and testing plans.

You will audit fabricators, resolve disputed indications with engineers of record, and represent the company to engineers, owners, and building officials on welding matters. Travel and per diem apply based on project needs.

Qualifications

• AWS SCWI preferred; a CWI with 8+ years of inspection leadership experience considered.
• Experience writing welding quality programs for structural, industrial, or pipeline work.
• Ability to review and approve WPS, PQR, and welder qualification packages.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and approve welding quality plans and inspection procedures.
• Supervise CWIs and Welding Inspectors across projects; review their reports.
• Audit fabricators and erectors' welding quality systems; witness or direct PT testing.
