Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a field technician to conduct testing and consulting for built environment projects, including property condition assessments and repair design. You will perform field and laboratory testing, interact with senior staff on diverse projects, and promote safety through proper PPE usage.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED, with a preferred associate/tech degree in civil or architectural engineering and 2 years of enclosure inspection experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate/Tech degree preferred in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
• 2 years of building enclosure field inspection experience preferred.
• Certifications such as WACEL, ACI and AWCI would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide testing and consulting services for the built environment, including property condition assessments and repairs design.
• Perform field and laboratory testing and liaise with senior staff on projects.
• Promote safety and proper PPE usage on all sites.

Job Responsibilities

• Testing and consulting services for the built environment, property condition assessments, specialized testing, building enclosure consulting, forensic investigation analysis, and design of repairs to existing structures, among other facilities-related services
• Exhibiting responsibility, organization, reliability, time management, and self-motivation
• Performing field and laboratory testing
• Interacting with senior staff members on a variety of projects, as needed
• Promoting a safe workplace and proper use of PPE
• High school diploma or GED; Associate or technology degree in Civil Engineering or architectural engineering preferred
• 2 years of related building enclosure field inspection experience preferred
• Professional certifications (WACEL, ACI and/or AWCI) would go a long way
• Must be able to provide suitable transportation for use on job sites - Mileage will be reimbursed

The expected pay range for this role and location is $22-$32/hour. The final agreed-upon compensation will be determined based on specific location and other individual qualifications.
