Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a field and lab technician to support testing and consulting services for the built environment in Hanover, MD. You will perform field and laboratory testing, interact with senior staff, and promote a safe workplace with proper PPE.

A high school diploma or GED is required; an associate degree in Civil or architectural engineering is preferred. Travel to job sites is required with mileage reimbursed; 2 years of related building enclosure field inspection

• Testing and consulting services for the built environment, property condition assessments, specialized testing, building enclosure consulting, forensic investigation analysis, and design of repairs to existing structures, among other facilities-related services
• Exhibiting responsibility, organization, reliability, time management, and self-motivation
• Performing field and laboratory testing
• Interacting with senior staff members on a variety of projects, as needed
• Promoting a safe workplace and proper use of PPE
• High school diploma or GED; Associate or technology degree in Civil Engineering or architectural engineering preferred
• 2 years of related building enclosure field inspection experience preferred
• Professional certifications (WACEL, ACI and/or AWCI) would go a long way
• Must be able to provide suitable transportation for use on job sites - Mileage will be reimbursed

The expected pay range for this role and location is $22-$32/hour. The final agreed-upon compensation will be determined based on specific location and other individual qualifications.
