Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Mount Laurel, NJ is hiring for a field technician focusing on building enclosure testing, assessments, and repairs design support. You will perform field and laboratory testing, engage with senior staff on projects, and promote safety and proper PPE while ensuring quality workmanship.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (associates preferred), 2 years of building enclosure inspection experience, and relevant certifications (WACEL, ACI, AWCI) would help.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Testing and consulting services for the built environment, property condition assessments, specialized testing, building enclosure consulting, forensic investigation analysis, and design of repairs to existing structures, among other facilities-related services
• Exhibiting responsibility, organization, reliability, time management, and self-motivation
• Performing field and laboratory testing
• Interacting with senior staff members on a variety of projects, as needed
• Promoting a safe workplace and proper use of PPE

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Associate or technology degree in Civil Engineering or architectural engineering preferred
• 2 years of related building enclosure field inspection experience preferred
• Professional certifications (WACEL, ACI and/or AWCI) would go a long way
• Must be able to provide suitable transportation for use on job sites - Mileage will be reimbursed

The expected pay range for this role and location is $20-$25/hour. The final agreed-upon compensation will be determined based on specific location and other individual qualifications.
