Job summary

BLHI is seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee daily QC responsibilities on multiple projects, ensuring compliance with established standards and documentation throughout the workflow. The role requires coordinating with project managers, superintendents, and external personnel to deliver a quality product.

Responsibilities include managing submittal logs, reviewing shop drawings, leading weekly QC meetings, producing daily QC reports, and ensuring material conformity and inspections.

Qualifications

• Five+ years construction industry experience.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external teams.

Responsibilities

• Create, update and maintain the project submittal log and all other project specific quality control reports
• Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with project specifications
• Chair and document weekly QC meetings with the superintendent and provide written minutes
• Provide written daily QC reports and address non-conformances promptly
• Conduct preparatory, initial and follow-up meetings to establish quality standards
