Job summary

ICOP, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Inspector in Charlotte, NC to support field construction projects. You will inspect drawings, verify installations on site, and document daily progress on a tablet, ensuring conformance to ICOP's specifications.

Travel is required: two weeks per project, with a home weekend in between. Overtime is common, lodging billed to ICOP, plus per diem and potential advancement to Foreman as experience grows.

Qualifications

• A technical college degree in Engineering, Geoscience, or Environmental Science preferred.
• One year of experience in a QC role within construction industry preferred.
• Willingness to travel two weeks at a time with a trip home every other weekend; road warrior with field construction work.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Foreman, determines degree of conformance to ICOP specifications.
• Inspects engineering drawings and confirms installations on the project site.
• Tracks and documents installations on a tablet for PMs review.
• Measures drilled hole distances and signals equipment operator when target depth is reached.
• Enters daily progress in tablet for PMs review.
• Completes documentation to attest to satisfactory completion of inspection activities.
• Experience in this job is a prerequisite to be considered for a Foreman role.
