Job summary

Bart’s Electric in Liberty, MO is seeking a Purchasing Agent to source, negotiate, and procure materials for commercial construction projects. You will manage the full purchasing cycle, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, and maintain supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Approve purchase orders and organize and confirm delivery of goods and services.
• Oversee and manage the tracking of shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.
• Develop procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
• Maintain updated ETA dates for all open purchase orders.
• Review purchase orders for accuracy of product, quantity, price, delivery date, and payment terms.
• Complete purchase orders using designated software as required.
